mean ?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=

Any idea how it's calculated ?

The value of the v
parameter is the Video ID. It seems that the process which produces this ID isn't widely published. Even the fact that it is 11 characters long isn't something that is set in stone and even the ID's of current video might change in the future.

You can read about it further here.
There are two answers there. The first is giving a short answer stating that not much, if anything, is known about the IDs. The other answer is by someone trying to reverse engineer the video ID, explaining his process.
Its Bypassing Youtube Regional Filtering
Some videos are only available in certain parts of the world. Your IP Address is used to determine your location and then allow or deny access to the video. Change the url from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v= to http://www.youtube.com/v/

This is a url request notation. Generally it is in this format www.youtube.com/?v=something.
"/?" What is after the question mark symbol are the queries
all the queries can be separated by "&" symbol
for example
suppose I am fetching data from a weather website. Then I will write www.nameofwebsite/?place=London&unit=metric
This means that I want to fetch data from the website "name of website" where the place is London and the unit of data is "metric"
It's quite clear from the question that he is asking about the value of the
v
parameter specifically in YouTube URIs, not generally about the format of URIs of "web addresses".– Shai

It's quite clear from the question that he is asking about the value of the v parameter, which is the video id. Your answer is unrelated to the question asked.
